Celebrate earth day all month! Nature Conservancy has a live webinar going on right now until 2:30 https://natureconservancy.brand.live/c/Determining_Decade_Summit_2021

National Geographic has a presentation with musical performances tonight at 8:30

Tomorrow at noon is an ocean centered presentation by Ocean Futures

You can also sign up for free to view the newest Jean-Michel Cousteau's new movie "Secret Ocean". I haven't seen it yet but I have seen other films he has done and they are so beautiful.

Remember, the oceans are the "lungs of the earth". We get approx. 70% of our oxygen from photosynthetic organisms in the ocean, more than all the rainforests on the earth. We see lots of images of rainforests being burned and how bad that is, but maybe we should pay more attention to the health of the oceans and our oxygen powerhouses the cyanobacteria (not really a bacteria, just related to them, but photosynthesize). As an aside, cyanobacteria are most likely the organism that caused the earth to gain enough oxygen for complex creatures, like us. National Cyanobacteria Day?!
