Happy Day!

Happy day! I just received delivery of my two tanks, stands, sumps, etc. and it will be just a couple of weeks until the final installation. Our house is a remodel, so I was able to plan from the beginning for the room setup including space for the chillers under the floor, adding extra large floor drains, two dedicated exhaust fans and a route for the wastewater from the RO unit. I have a dedicated closet for the water mixing drum and the reverse osmosis unit. This is all within my oversized laundry room, which I also call my Marine Lab. I will go to Staples today to get a notebook for recording how to run everything and a binder for all the equipment specs. Things will then get serious, as I purchase the salt and learn how everything works together.

Here is what I have so far in my setup:

Mixing station: 100 GPD 6 Stage RO System 50 gal drum 30 gal rolling mixing drum Powder coated steel stand

50 gallon “Octopus tank”: ¾” vertical walls, ¾:”top, 3/8: bottom, acrylic custom sump 1 HP Trade Wind chiller ReeFlo Pump Swordtail Kessil 360 LED Lamp Aqua Euro in-Sump Semicone protein skimmer Powder coated steel stand

Touch Tank: 120 gallon acrylic Custom sump 35 x 15 x 20 1 HP Trade Wind Chiller (2) Kessil 360 E Series Tuna Blue 1 ReeFlo pump Coralife protein skimmer Powder coated steel stand
